The Bushy Wushy Rag by Phillip Kent Bimstien Performed by The Equinox Chamber Players

"The Bushy Wushy Rag hit a home run at Fair Saint Louis!" Rich Meyers, Executive Director, Fair Saint Louis Celebrating life in St. Louis, Phillip Kent Bimstein's "The Bushy Wushy Rag" includes sounds and influences ranging from a St. Louis Cardinals game to the ragtime music of Scott Joplin. As boisterously American as ragtime and the game of baseball, it bridges the gaps between art and pop culture, the concert hall and the ballpark, the salon and the honky-tonk, and music and storytelling.

who premiered the work in Las Vegas in 1997. Bimstein arranged Half Moon at
Checkerboard Mesa for Horn for Carole Lemire.
